This is a pretty decent article. I like how she pointed out that people with the sound of authority would just make stuff up, and other people, believing it would perpetuate the myths. I think she could have referred to his autobio more though, especially when talking about the Houdini connection. She clearly knew her stuff, but that bit was a little thin. There were a...

Antique Shops. →

Yesterday I went downtown to find some antique shops. And I did. And I realized that I get so depressed every time I enter one of those damn places.

OK, I'll bite:
1: my top 5 favourite bands.
The Who, The 13th Floor Elevators, Pink Floyd, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Spirit
(which doesn't include my 5 favorite solo artists: B.W. Stevenson, Michael Nesmith, Eric Clapton, Janis Joplin & Blaze Foley.)
3: my top 5 favourite songs.
Baba O'Riley (Who), Parvardigar (Townshend solo), Slip Inside This House (Elevators), Highway One (B.W. Stevenson), I Know You're Out There Somewhere (Moody Blues)
8: a guilty pleasure.
The Travelling Wilburys
15: what song am i listening to right now.
George Harrison - Wah Wah
20: an unpopular opinion about music.
San Francisco 1967 gets waaaay too much credit as the cradle of American Psychedelic music. It was invented in Austin, Texas in 1966 by Tommy Hall, Roky Erickson, Stacy Sutherland, Benny Thurman & John Ike Walton - The 13th Floor Elevators. The "Psychedelic Sounds" album is still the greatest trip ever laid down on vinyl.
